There is a Story Somewhere

This picture was taken in Washington, DC, from the C&O Canal towpath, at a location where a bridge crosses the Potomac into Virginia.

I biked across the river into Virginia that day, and did a loop that covered the Custis Trail, the W&OD trail, and the Mt. Vernon trail past National Airport and along the river.
